Mandala Assignment

*Artist Statement*
The title of this piece is Primavera. The purpose of this assignment was to create a mandala that has some sort of significant symbolize that represent who we are as a person and exemplify what we believe in. There is a lot of symbolism in my mandala, and it was just so interesting to look into all of the different cultures that it has a significance in. Circles represent eternal life, and suns represent happiness. I chose these colors for that as well. I have a happy life, and I think that it is important to spread as much joy as possible, and with warm colors, that is possible. There are also cold colors here too, to make the warm ones appear brighter. On the outside, I chose to do the four seasons as well, because life is beautiful, and so is the earth, no matter the season.
